STRESS
Category:We all experience stress in different ways, and we have different ways of managing it. Multiply stress types like acute, episodic, chronic stress and more. Living daily with stress in my life for ten years has caused me a lot of health issues.
I was diagnosed with an illness, which I went into denial about, in 2016. At that moment in my life my first priority was a primary care-giver, not to mention working a full-time job at a busy retail wholesale store. Chronic stress, or what is known as care giver stress, was starting to affect me emotionally and physically.
The physical effects of my job and the stress was taking a toll on my body. Vomiting, pain, heartburn, acid reflux and more. Living with this chronic stress has weakened my immune system, digestive system, and gut flora. Not to mention the headaches, trouble sleeping, high blood pressure, chronic over thinking, anxiety and depression. My body manifested a sense of extreme tiredness and fatigue to the point where I couldn’t even get off the couch or get out of bed. Being surrounded by negativity at work, or individually daily affected my body, it drained my soul and mind which caused toxin levels to show up in my blood work.
In my search to find ways to provide knowledge so I could help myself I stumbled upon this article.
